the motor can handle boost, it's the tranny that can't. If it wasn't for this POS tranny there would most likely be a good amount of boosted 3.0's

t3/t4 owns you..put er at about 25psi and watch your tranny fall to pieces.

at 25psi your motor would probably go before the tranny

invest in a dr. evil tranny first then do a boost and youll be fine, a boost on the stock tranny you tranny will be gone by the 2nd day

our trannys suck a phatty

go slap on a t-88 and your in heaven LOL :-D you can boost any car thats out there it all depend on where n how u get them or something liek that

yeah, and if you ever did get a dr evil tranny, you probably coulnd't go much higher than 10 lbs of boost before causing serious damage to the engine. this engine wasn't made for boost, so unless you rebuild it to withstand more boost, 10 psi should be the limit. probably make about 300-325 hp at the crank with 10 psi.

har har, no actually it was the turbo i was about to upgrade to in my eclipse before i decided to sell it because right now im at an upgraded 16g turbo

the engine wasn't designed for boost, but they can handle it, there are a few j30's in sand rails out here that are hooked up to vw trans that run 10-18psi and the owners can't believe how well the motors hold up

If I would want to put a diff tranny in CL which tranny would I have to get to, so when I put boost, my tranny wont brake to pieces
