if i got the navigation system from an 01 CL could it work on my car????

 

I had a mechanic friend of mine get one from an 02 mdx. Last I heard he got it to fit and installed it, but was having problems hooking it up to the satellite receiver. I don’t remember exactly. IMO I don’t think it’s worth the money or time, but to each their own. If it makes you happy go for it

 

Why would you want to? It would take tons of custom work to get it to fit in. Why don't you just buy an Alpine screen and navi unit? They make the ones for Acura anyway...

1stgencl did the navi install on his car from an 01 or 02. It looks really nice, but I think he said he had a problem with the dvd or something because he got the navi system and screen from a junked tl/cl.

From the factory, those things cannot play regular DVD's. I do not know if there is a patch or jumper circuit you can install to get them to do so or not. I would go with the Alpine--
