The Correct Window Regulator?

I am another victim of the window regulator! I went to 1AAutomotive to buy it online and the next day they called me saying they cancelled the order b/c the 94/97 Honda Accord window regulator is only for the 97 Acura CL 2.2.

That doesn't seem right since the 98 Acura CL is basically the same thing. Am I wrong??? I dont think I am, so i'm pissed since they cancelled it without checking with me first and now it'll take longer for them to ship it to me!!! How long can i go with an open window???

If you really need the window closed, I would suggest you remove the door panel and manually push the window back up, then drive aroudn without the door panel (I went to work with the panel in my backseat for 3 days) and wait until the unit arrives.

You planning on doing it on your own or going to someone? Anyone in Chicago know anyone who'd be able to do it for real cheap?

Hey

This is the first time I have replied to any post but here it goes. It is really easy to install the window regulator. I watched a mechanic take mine out. It is just a matter of taking off the screws and unplugging the motor and put in the new one. Remember to put the window back on the track. Hope this helps you.

I forgot one thing. I got my window regulator used out of an accord. I got it for $125 CDN. To get one new it would have cost me $450 CDN. Call a wrecker close to you if you want to get a used one. Good Luck!
