black: thanks for the info man...yeah I have those exact same piaa packaged bulbs (japanese writing) but they're the 'super plasma' version, which is probably somewhere around 8k I'm guessing lol Please let me know how the other set matches, as I'm looking for the best match possible, and don't want to drop 20 bucks a pop to experiment, if possible.

Yeah, then you'd be me, I've dropped around $500 on f'ing light bulbs

I doubt it - our brake lights are dual-filament and only come on when the parking light comes on. Now, you could probably modify the harness to have them glow as parking lights as well as flash - that would work I would think.

Noob question, but what are the upper corners for? I don't think I've ever seen them come on.

They come on when the parking lights and headlights come on. Your bulbs must be burned out.

well im thinking getting a 7443 sochet instead of the 7440, running a constant on to the corners, and the signal to the stock wire. . . and like I said, too much effort for no return

Go on ebay store call v-led search 168 HID wedges thts what they call them there blue wit a hint of purple i orderd it for mine but i have cool blue but those are more blue/purlple thn wha i have ill see if i can get a pic tom..
