cool acura story
I work painting houses, and the supply place we go to in town nearly every morning, the owner of it had an 01 ish TL, and i have complemented him on it in the past... I was painting his shed, and he saw my CL and complemented me on it, said something like "thats real sharp looking"... So today we go to get some paint and shit, and a brand new tl is parked in his spot, and we went in the store and i asked him about it... he said it was his, i told him it was really nice etc... i just thought it was cool because he's about 55 and i'm 17...
first gens are classy but can be a very nice sleeper, and most old guys who have acuras are nice, unless they are the rich pricks i run into around here

Most people do double takes when they see the 1st Gen Cl because they have no idea what the hell it is. I had a guy in an 04 TL stop me one day and ask me what it is and I told him an 06 6spd..

gotta love the acura connection.. i was @ pep boys grabbing some NXT once and ran into a guy who also liked NXT.. we chatted turns out he gotta 05 TL and hes on the forum.. small world man now hes like the 4th or 5th person i know in my city thats on here

I fell in love with the CL the first time I saw one. It has such eligant lines... I love the shape of the hood. That raised area looks cool as fuck from behind the wheel. Classy lines are everything in body design.

wow, your lucky, i dont have any people close to me really, a few like 30 minutes away but never gonna run into them

seems like a lot of people have similar stories. i was at a gas station recently and this guy pointed my car out to his friend asking what it was. after a few looks, he said it's an acura. i just like the fact that no one i know has one.
