Compresion vs FI

So what you guys think would be better for our cars high compression with low boost or lots of boost? just wondering opinions and if n e one has numbers to back up what they think please post links, pics, ect...

stick with low boost, neither engines ( j or f ) were designed for high boost, unless you want to rebuild the crap outta it.

and in all reality, low boost = the way to go with these engines... no more than 10 PSI is what you can push on stock internals...

Ok maybe I should have been more detailed my bad. I mean with prepped motors which do you prefer? I'm also not talking crazy boost like 12-15 or compression of like 10-12:1.

simply put, it's not worth it. by all means if you're building a street-able car.

stick with 9:1 or something.

think of it this way, the higher the compression, the more chances you'll have of detonation. also, good luck boosting a high c/r on pump gas.

yeah I know that 9: _ was about as high compression you want on boost but I guess my real question is whats the safest as far as longevity

it also depends on the tuning. you would need it tuned very well if you wanted to run a higher compression on your setup
