commuting advice! yay

So anyways, I drive a 97 3.0CL eats up gas like no other. I live in the bay area, and i have to commute about 30-40 miles a day so i wonder what you guys think is better 30 miles stop and go the whole way, or 30 miles cruising and then 10-15 miles extreme stop and go?? i get to work at about the same time give or take 5-10 minutes, but im just wondering what would u guys think is better for my car lol my friend says to go the extra 10 just bcuz i should avoid all stop and go at all costs? btw its an auto and yea i have 120000 on it x.x im scarred my tranny gunna fall out

thx

work sucks....

slap a tranny cooler on there first. Can you get flex time? go in later, go home later to dodge the rush?

still makes me laugh how everyone on here complains about their car and gas consumption

whatever is takes to fill my CL is a hell of a lot cheaper than the full size lowered trucks I used to drive LOL

right now it's like 45 bucks cdn - i get 650km + per tank

before $120 - $150 cdn - i'd catch my ass to get even 600km per tank

gotta love V8 power

....but anyway I say 30 miles cruising at a constant speed is better

I always leave work late to get smooth sailing home, but def get a tranny cooler, and if i were u, I'd do the 30 min cruise, less go stop.
