Clutch

OS Giken Multi Plate R2C and R2CD Clutch

Anyone heard of them?
Im trying to learn of a multi plate clutch
Exedy I believe is a no go. I can't seem to find the right application.

my friend has an OS Giken plate on his 3000GT. he says its smooth but isnt R2CD cluth the same thing but its twin plated???

i like them maybe im wrong because they sell replacement/rebuild parts for their $3,000 clutch unlike exedy. as far as i have found they make a rated clutch for our cars.

been debating that. i might look around and see if anyone makes diff gear ratios for us. as far as triple plate... i havent found it. double yes, triple not yet.

not yet. havent even headed toward that headache yet... thats something i might do later on myself. i got pushed back another couple of months. i have the funds to have my stroker block assembled and all work and fab for the turbo. i dont have the money for the clutch and misc other parts. this car is gonna take me to the bttom of the river along with it.

and matt. i HAVE to get rid of my AC. bastard, i bet ur happy now

i'm pretty sure you can get turbo manifolds that let you keep your AC. unless you want it gone for weight reduction.

i dont think the turbo manifold is the issue. im getting thay custom done so i do have play. the intercooler piping wont play too nice with that a/c compressor nor will the intercooler sit properly.

i'm only goin by hearsay really. many times have I seen the phrase.."manifold is AC compatible". that's why I asked.

try looking to competition clutch, and clutch masters twin disk.. they highly come recomended. i know a few people using there twin disk with over 700+ and still going strong..... also if you need headwork for your turbo setup Pm i can get you a good deal on a ported head from www.cccylinderheads.com.... steve sponsored us and we can help you with what ever you need

Already done. Spent a lot more on my head than ever expected. A lot of good things in there. Labor came pretty cheap. Thanks though.
