CLs and snow... bad combo

Hello all,

I just wanted to have your feedbacks on how your rides drive in snow.
Today we had our first major snow.
Sleet and snow stuck to the road, and I've neveer had so much trouble. I am going to change back to my stock wheels.

I am on my Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S and 18s. Very slippery and veery bad handling. It was actaully very dangerous braking and taking sharp curves.

What wheels to you guys have, and how to they handle in snow/rain/ice?

dude... aint the CL. P-Zero are used mainly as summer tires. front wheel drive cars a naturally great in bad weather conditions. throw in some decent all season tires and you should be alright.

It never snows here so I've never had a chance to test my tires in the snow... I really want it to so I know if my tires were worth it.

My CL was amazing in the snow with 2 Michelin X-Ice's on the front, but I bought a 4WD to handle winter cuz the CL doesn't like ice, snow and mostly SALT

Whenever it snow's down here, my tires are capable of rocking it.

Otherwise, they suck.

I have falken 452s for the summer. I just put mu stock rims and tires back on yesterday. Using the summer tires in the winter is like driving with plastic tires instead of rubber. No traction

It's already snowed in metro DC? Damn!! I was up there last year in my 2.2CL - I had regular all season Michelins. My car was buried under about 2 feet of snow. I drove all the way from DC, through Virginia, and all the way back to Alabama without one slip. I was even dodging big chunks of ice that was flying off of the roofs of other cars.

I haven't driven my 3.2CLS through snow yet I'm betting it will handle the snow even better with the integrated VSA traction control system.

It actually snowed in South East Michigan where I am during the school year. But yeah, driving in snow is a bitch

You guys have a different problem in Miami - RAIN. I was living in Miami a few years ago. It rained so hard for about 30 minutes the water level was half way up my car. If it had continued to rain a few more minutes my car would have floated away down to Key Biscayne.
