its bout 24 hours from tampa to austin, which is where i couldnt go on any more. that was doin bout 85 the whole way..then miami is another 3-4 and austin to dallas is another 3-4 so bout a 32 hour drive....fuck that.. youll need them aderol.

 

Cocoa aren't you putting in a J35 block with J32 cls heads?, and are you running a maunal or auto through that car. i think that against an h22 would be one hell of a match. but you probably would win. and is there any possibilty that you would supercharge that engine?

My only question with Cocoa's set up is the engine weight and that thing even heavier than a H22A

The J35 will not weigh much more than the 3.0

The 3.0 will tie if not beat an H22 CL with basic bolt ons. I've raced Duece's H22 CL, and SooDark's H22 CL. Beat Duece by about 3/4 of a car, and tied SooDark all the way till 130mph. We kept pulling on each other. CLPower has beaten an H22 CL as well coming righ tout of a shop.

The J35/J32 is suppose to bring the car down to low 14's high 13's NA.

I'm going for the 6 speed swap as soon as I save 4 grand. I'm going to keep my 125 shot of nitrous on this motor. If anything, I'd rather go with a custom turbo kit than the supercharger.

My family is moving back to Dallas as soon as they sell this house. They hope on being out there by august if not before because they dont want my lil brother to miss out on school. I'll be out in Dallas regardless, cause I have friends out there anyways. We use to live out there So I'll make it to FL no prob. I have family out there I can stay with in Fort Lauderdale (dont know how to spell it).

I forget what you have done, but I know your car is one of the top dogs from the 2nd gen. (I'm more than sure it's supercharged at like 9psi's if I'm not mistaken, and intercooled, but then again, I forget).

Is Type R the only one with the 3.5 conversion in the 2nd gen? I know thinjim is working on one.

And isn't there another turbo'd 2gen aside from allmotor. I could have sworn he sold his old kit to a member on the boards (if that was the case).

Yes the automatic CL-S was supercharged but now it is stock. With just the SC'er at 6.5psi/Headers/Exhaust it made 295whp and ran 13.3 @ 108 MPH.

I still have the automatic but I also have a 6MT which is also supercharged and one day will be intercooled, 9psi, etc.

TypeR has the 3.5L stroker and he also runs low 13s at around 105 MPH. He makes something like 265whp.

ThinJim is creating a monster 3.5L motor that will be turbo'd from the start.

Allmotor has a turbocharged CL-S as does BlueCLS6 and MtBkR (automatic). Those 3 cars are using the GT35R turbo. The original turbo kit was sold to Titand9 and uses a T3/T4. The horsepower differences between the to turbos is 360+ vs 420+ at the same boost level.
