The colon in the middle of my clock display is blinking now. I don't recall this happening before. I think it occured when I held down some key combination in the middle of setting it, and now I can't get it to be steady again. The book makes no mention of being able to change this setting.. Anyone else ever come across this?

 

Is the time correct? I think that means that the time is not set from last power cycle... though I could be wrong.

 

Yes, the time is correct, and it continues to keep proper time, and continues to blink very weird.

 

just reset the battery or unplug the clock for a minute and plug it back

 

Just reset it, sounds like it's stuck in time set mode.
