I dont think you can clear them because they are made out of red plastic. I read about some people on the tl forum that smoked theirs.

I remember back in the day when people use to make em for their car but taking the red plastic cover off. Then go to HomeDepot and buy those clear plastic taht people use for windows, the one witht he diamon/triangle cuts in back and shape it so it'll fit by heating and shaving it.

Yea, you need that clear stuff that goes over like those floresent lights. Also, youd need to rewire your turns since they light up all the time. (unless you put in red bulbs, which defeats the whole purpose)

yeah that's what it is! those plastic for the floresent lights. But i'll bet you'll get pull over in a heart beat cuz it clear and it doesn't have reflectors.

The internal housing is full of metal reflectors.

Do you have to do anything to make the bulb fit? or is it just the regular size? I thought stobes were like a really small bulb or something. Anyways, also, can you change whether the pattern when its on, or does it blink like crazy when you back up, haha.

I was thinking about clearing out my entire car. Like taking the body panels off and taking the floor-board out and hood off of course. replacing the everything with see through plastic. But leaving my taillights the way they are.

yes i agree that red on red is really hot but yeah...not as good red on blue

oh the strobes are like mini tubes that you can just slip into the place that the normal backups go
i haven't figured out a way to control the strobe pattern...all it is is a relay w/ strobe attached to it and power wires

I surely dont think euro is ghetto by any means, however, there really isn't any point of clearing our tails....if they had amber in them I could see it.....but they are solid red.
