is it me or are our cars like a magnet for accidents. i was a victim of 2 hit and runs and the second one happened 1 week i fixed it from the first. its not me neither! every first gen cl i see in the bay area is banged up and all are from rear end damage. iono maybe its just me but the cl is an extremely unlucky car

 

this one has been good to me in that light - my last car in two years i had like 8 accidents---- long stories
but it was a mazda 626 v6 and i always thought that there was one too many 6's in the name

 

my geen cl got a hit n run from the driver side...

its a great car.. i have a few minor dents but cant see myself blameing such a comfortable easy to drive, very small, front wheel drive car on an accident.

Bought the CL cause an assclown speeding EMT van plowed my beloved lude. 4 months after getting my cl another lude rear ended my ass and bombed off, fucker. then while back out one day trying not to run over my idiot friend i turn to soon and whacked my front fender and bumper so i finally took her to the body shop and had her redone. Better then when i bought her cause teh bumper had had touch up areas. No less the a month after that did a fucking new 3 series tap the bumper in a parking lot leaving a nice big scuff on the corner of my rear bumper, grrr. i havent bothered fixing it and i havent been hit since. My lucks sucks, but a lot of it is fucking LA drivers and the fact they dont what to do behind the wheel of a car.

 

Got rear ended in July got that fixed, now my CL is in the shop again cuz some punk turned left in front of me. Both were not my fault. I got a 04' Maxima today for a rental with 25 miles on it...so I'll be alright for the next 2 weeks.

whats the break in period? 30 miles?

yes. its bad bad luck car for me too. i got backed into when the car was parked, so new bumper needed. a couple of months l8ter, reared ended on the freeway, again new bumper was installed. 3 months later, car got into a hit and run. car was totalled. no more cl for me. maybe the back of the cl looks too pretty, ppl lost their concentration and run into us.

 

haha i agree with thai, its always our rear ends that get messed up, so maybe it is as he says

 

i must say all my last cars where hunted.. but my cl has treat me right...(knock on wood) hrmmm i wonder if maybe this car i actually like.. or that now i have a kid and i'm more responsable.... duuh that is what it is... cars arent jinxed is the people that drive them.
