OK, so im driving down the highway yesterday evening and theres a yellow Ford Focus with the loudest highpitched winey exhaust ive ever heard...im commin up on his left and he slows down to talks to me...

"hey dude!! dude!! OMG!! Dude! Were u in this months Sport Compact!?! There was a car looking EXACTLY looking like yours in this months sport compact that won the best burnout contest!"

I was like...umm nope..wasnt me! but thanks anyway!!

Soo my question is, does anyone get The Sport Compact Mag? From what this guy said, this month there was a CL (maybe it was just a car that looked like a CL) that won the best burnout contest....does anyone know about this?? is it anyone on the forums?? Or, was this guy just totaly wacked from too much loud highpitched winey exhaust noise messin up his head?? lol

If I can recall correctly...there was a post maybe a couple weeks ago that posted something about a picture on some site that did a burnout. That might be it.

At least the CLs are starting to get a little more publicity, instead of people calling it another accord or even worse a solara!!!! Hehe.

My fault folks. I remembered someone posted a site with a first gen doing a burnout, so that's what I was talking about. I was unaware of the 2nd gen in the magazine so again my fault.

Anyhow it's still a CL!!!!

well wait a minute, I just read your title... the one of the CL-S is from the september edition... if the guy in the focus who saw yours in the August edition, then it may be a totally diffrent ballgame.. I thought they had a shot of a transport truck doing a burnout in the august edition, but i'll look more closely for a shot of a CL.

You mean Mischief. Destroy is the new one. Pretty sure the blue CL with the graphics was the original (or maybe mischief 3000).
