has anyone used any of these "chips" that claim to gain 25+ horse power?
im curious if they acutally work, and if they will damage my car in any way.

Chipping a stock motor or even a motor with bolt-on's will do nothing. You need bigger cam/s, more compression etc... to make it worth it.

yeah i agree about eh ebay chips...eh not to trustworthy.....but all other "veterans" will a chip yu buy from a performance shop work?

 

as said above, if you got the goods, such as cams, pistons, fuel rail, etc ya! They are pretty much the same for the stock engins for our cls. So whatever name you find wont really do much unless your engine is modded like crazy! You are better off buying a VAFC, look those up, you will be much happier with that.

V-Tec controllers like the vafc is your best bet. AFTER u mod your motor.

 

You're all wrong, the key with the ebay chips is to place it just so on your gooch. 0-60 in 4 seconds is not out of the ordinary.
