Checking in

Hey fellas, hope all is well.

About to do a little maintenence on the car and just wanted to confirm a few things with the experts.

Gotta replace the corner bulbs next to the headlights. Figured I'd go with hyperwhites instead of the stock yellows to better match the projectors. I'd like to do the top (A) and bottom (B)

Now the noob guide lists these: "Front corners | 168/194" as the part numbers - does anyone have recommendations on a particular brand? Ebay or online store link would be greatly appreciated.

My second question regards the AEM V2 intake filter. Mine is black with usage and needs to be either cleaned or replaced. How hard is it to do the cleaning using the K+N kit? It looks like the kit is about $25 - http://www.autoanything.com/air-filt...A1993A0A0.aspx

Would it just be smarter to replace the filter with a new AEM? I can't even find the accord 94-94 model on ebay anymore. Anyone know of a place - link?

Thanks for reading this essay

idk about the bulbs, but the K&N kit works pretty well and is easy to use. I've cleaned 3 filters with it already

K&N kit works wonders for cleaning filters

Bulbs are 194/168 wedge bulbs, I recommend 4 LED white bulbs, from superbrightleds.com or autolumination.com

So if I were to go with the top bulbs on this page: WLED Miniature Wedge Base bulbs

T3-1/4 (#194/168)

http://superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html

would I need anything else? Like the sockets? Or will they plug and play with the current stock setup?

Planning on going with the cool white X6 model to match the projos - will the X6's work?

Thanks!

Yep you shouldn't need any special sockets or anything

everyonez right about the bulbs..as far as the recharge kit from k&n its easy. but your cars going to be out of work for a day. after the cleaning you have to wait for the filter to dry completely then apply the oil. if i were you. i would just get another filter and keep the one you have now as extra?

The K&N kit works great. A cheaper alternative is to go to an atv/motorcycle dealership and purchase a filter cleaning kit from them. You'll probably find them in the racing section. They used to be under $10 and are the same thing as the K&N kit.

My door lock actuator appears to be dying in my passenger side. How hard/expensive a fix is this?

you'll need #6 in the picture i believe

http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

72110-SY8-A01
LOCK ASSY., R. FR. DOOR POWER
89.33

but...you might be able to just get away with just #10

72115-SY8-A01
ACTUATOR ASSY., R. FR. DOOR LOCK
48.35

and then just pop the door panel off and it's all right there. shouldn't take more then a couple hours if you got tools and half a brain

Any way to figure out if I need more then just #10? I don't want to pop open my door and realize I needed a new part. Is there a guide to removing your door panel on here?

Door panel is easy, it's been posted on here a ton, first remove the mirror cover, just pops right out. Then on the door panel theres 2 screws, one in the base of the handle and one in the top part of the handle going straight in. Remove those 2 screws, then start popping the clips on the door panel from the outside in, once you have popped a few, you can reach in and remove the wire for the door light, then you have to pop the clips the rest of the way, and then remove the wires for the window switch, then it's just a matter of wiggling the panel up and out, very straight forward.

Also, when you put the panel back on, make sure your window is down
