Check engine light broken?
I just went to get her inspected, and she failed becasue he said the check engine light wasnt coming on....any ideas?

Bulb might have went out. Gonna have to open up the dash and take a look at it.

someone might have taken out the bulb before selling it to you... a car will sell easier without the engine light on ..

sounds like they may have yanked the bulb and/or wires

did he get a code and the light wasnt on or is he trying to turn it on.
if he is trying to turn it on then the guy is about rip you off. he might pull a second tranny for better gas mileage. beware

he said he pulled a tranny code but the light wasnt turnin on. and no it's just blown, cuz it used to come on when the engine mounts broke. so now i get to rip the whole dash out and replace it.

rip the whole dash out? just the gauge cluster. is like a couple screws d00d.

yeah i know. but other lights on the dash are out, and ive just been to lazy to fix them, so i may as well do it now.

why would it come on when the engine mounts were broken? there are no codes or sensors for the engine mount.

cuz all the engine mounts were broken, and the engine was moving so much it caused alot of other problems. lol.
