Check Engine light

Hey guys, My check engine light is on, How do I check the code without the tool, I think there is a "paper clip" mehod. Does anyone know how to do it on a 98CL. Pics would help Thanks!

search.

go to autozone and ask to borrow the OBD2 sensor. they will tell you whats wrong when you give them the code.

Go here: How do I pull my engine codes if I do not have a scanner tool

The alternative connector is a blue 2-pin located on the passenger side under the glove box.
