I just installed a intake a few days ago and havent driven the car since but during the installation i took off the battery and now the car works fine its just that the stock bose head unit wont work!! i get this Code thing and and Err- 3or something i tried taking off the negative part of the battery and all that does is let you punch in the codes again what do i do?

i cant call a dealership because i bought the car used and i have no way of cantacting the person i bought it from. the thing didnt come with a user manual eaither ????

 

u need the factory cd player code. the guy who sold u the car should have it. if u cant contact him, only way to get the code is by taking it to dealer ship and they charge you fockin 50$!. all they do is take ur headunit out and look up the serial number to obtain the code. but for juss that, they charge u 50$.

 

i might as well fuckin fork out another 50 bucks and get aftermarket...

if you call the dealership and say you are a collision shop you can read the VIN to them and they can get you the code.

i work in a shop and when i needed my code i just did that

 

theres no place in my car where i could get the code? like its printed somewhere? i checked under the cup holder didnt see any 5 digit number check the ash tray didnt see anything poped the glove looked all around outside under, inside nothing anywhere!!
