Hey guys yeah ive had my 97 CL for 2 years now and all of a sudden ppl are like hating on my car, I left my car in a parking lot while i was at a soccer game for no more than an hour I come back and its got a nice key all the way down the driver side, with a nice fat "W" above that, this all happend like a month ago. I was about to bring it to the shop this week when I came out of my Practice and it got keyed again right below this first one!!! short of never leaving my car alone for more than 10 minutes any ideas on how to avoid this, cause this is just pissing me off and this is probly gonna cost me over a grand...

Anyone else had similar vandalism experiences?

I got nothin. The only thing I got that you can tell from the outside is tint, 50% up front 35% in the back. And I am a likeable guy, I dont piss off anyone, I think I found out the reason for the first keying. I used to have my Tassle from graduation hangin on my mirror, and I think some A-hole from a rival school did it. but this new key Im clueless cause Ive parked in the same spot for 4 years 4 days a week.

 

Maybe someone saw the old key and figured "hey what the hell he's already got key marks. let's add more"... people can be really shitty like that sometimes as we all know.

Sorry to hear about that shit though. Ugh to people who key cars.

that sucks...my car just got keyed on the left front fender and the driver door but not too bad...some people just don't have respect

 

I always worry about shit like that....a punk little kid keying my car, a drunk asshole banging his door on my car...I guess you are never safe..... I always try to park my car where I can see it..incase I catch someone fuckin wit my CHIT!!! I just reccomend that you park your car in a highly visible place whenever it is at all possible. This way, even if you can't see it from where you are....it is out in the public view and that tends to scare off pussy ass theives, vandals, etc.

I called up a friend at the insurance agency and he recommended not to cause my premiums would go up like 500 every 6 months, Im already paying ALOT

That is silly. it is a comprehensive claim. Probably got a $250, maybe $500 deductable. The only way it will raise your premium is if you have had a number of recent claims that are your fault... And or you have had a bad driving record.

What a bunch of immature bullshit. Keying or vandalizing a car is just ghey. It angers me that someone would think it's funny or fun to do that to a nice ride.
