Car Dings

My shiny 2.2 CL has a couple of ugly dings on the body from people slamming there car doors on my CL . Is there an easy/cheap way to take these dings out of my car? Has anyone dealt with this issue?

Thanks for the help.

We got this guy that go to all the car lots and rubs out the from the inside of the car with these rods . Called the Dent Wizard in the phone book. I think they have this service in a lot of cities. I am getting my whole car done for like around $70 bucks.

I have a huge dent above my front passanger side wheel. My friend told me a plunger might do the trick. He told me some autobody shops us a toilet plunger first depending on where the ding is, etc..

Imagine getting charged $100 for that lol. Imma try it and let ya know whats up.

I dont think there is any way that is going to work unless it is a very large dent. Even then it shouldnt work that well

Some body shops use a device similar to the dingking. Its a little larger and the epoxy is very high strength. I don't know if its possible to get that type of high grade equipment for $30, but who knows. I lot of times, shops take medium to large dents out from the inside, using a type of roller combine with a mallet to smooth the dent out. If the ding has a sharp crease in the middle, I don't think the dingking would work. If the ding is small and feels smooth in the indentation, it's possible depending on how good the equipment is. (For $30, I'd rather get a tank of gas and some cigarettes)

I started a thread a couple months ago about someone thrashing my passenger door with their door in my parking lot at work

I went inside to tell my boss I was going to the auto shop to get an estimate on the damage. He told me not to go, I told him to f off, and proceeded to quit. The estimate was over $400.

I left the damage alone, went on my world tour through Vancouver, SF, Taiwan, and Australia, and now I'm back. My car is dirty as hell and I don't really care. I hate the fact that one ding or dent can change the way you feel about your car. The thing I hate even more is people who don't have the courtesy and respect for other people's cars
