Who on this board did that in their car? I remember someone came up with a in car computer with a small 2 line LCD display for names and stuff....

How in the hell did you do this??? I want something of the sort for my car.... but I want a huge hard drive to put ALL my music on, I hate scratched CDs and changing CDs, I want all my music in one place.

I want a LCD display (just alpha-numeric) that will display the song titles, time and that stuff... then just a few buttons to go through the list and select a song. Something very simple.

 

how about a 30gb ipod or something like that, and run it through your headunits auxiliary? or a kenwood music keg?

it is difficult and expensive to do the actual computer set up...and you still have to wait for it to load every time you turn on the car.
