car alarm problem plzzz help!!!

Question car alarm problem plzzz help!!!

i just bought my 98 2.3 2 weeks ago everything was fine until yesterday, when i arm my car and lock it, 10 after my headlights start blinking, so i got to disarm it then arm it again, then it'll do the same thing over and over, some told me that its the factory alarm, i don't know what to do can someone help me plzzzz.....thanks in advance!!!!

10 what... seconds after? Minutes after?

If it's seconds after, there may be a faulty sensor somewhere. You have them in at least 4 places I know off, hood, trunk and doors. Check your switches.

i thought the 1st gen didnt actually have an alarm, just keyless entry and panic. Is that not true?

Nope they are alarmed. And yeah, check for bad sennsors. It may be that the sensor is triggering because it is stuck with dirt and takes that long for it to move to the trigger point.
