Cam Gears?
Cam Gears?
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get cam gears. Right now I just have an intake and I don't have a whole lot of money to spend on mods. But I coild afford the install and uning plus the actual part on a cam gear. Is it worth it? What part of my extended warranty does this void? Oh and what kind should I get? I was thinking skunk2
i would do cam gear after I/H/E . Then ur car will be ready to make changes to the valve train. You'll have more air able to come in but you also need to get them out quicker with headers and exhaust. But its up to you. Dyno is worth it IMO. It gives u an idea of how ur car is (how slow it is in my case).
thanks. I know that you are probably right, but right now I don't have the money for a header or an exhaust, I just put in my order for nitrous a little bit ago and am waiting on that.
I had them slap it on with a timing belt change. They did it for nothing (unless you count the $500 for the timing belt install).
