A/C question.

ok here is ther deal. i know the evaporator in the passenger side by the floor makes hissing noises when its doing it job. But lately its been really loud sometimes. When i turn the car off it sounds like a sink or a waterfall. Could it be clogged? Or maybe i need to change out the filter( if there is one). Anybody have any ideas what this could be?. I feel like its about to pour out water and start to leak. the first year i got the car it was leaking and there was a "swimmin pool" there but its gone now when acura fixed it. I feel like its about to happen again.

sometimes the a/c drain gets clogged and fills up the evapoator case because it can't drain and then sloshes around when turning or braking and leaks onto the carpet on the passenger side.Easy fix is too get under the car and blow some air threw the drain tube to unblock it.

I had the same problem as you. Before I bought my 97 CL, they were suppose to fix that whole problem. It was fixed in late June/early July. However, it started up again recently and I just had it fixed yesterday (as I'm still under pre-owned warranty) and its fine for now. They told me it was "low" or something like that and the system needed to be recharged as well as one other thing which I can't remember right now.

I would like to know, like you, what exactly this problem is, and if I can anticipate it coming back in the near future.
