Search for it under 1st gens, it's been discussed a couple of times.
Searching is a good habit and it also might answer your question faster instead of having to wait for someone to respond.

my old car did that...................it was the heater core. But that wouldn't have anything to do with the AC. Does your windshield get a film on it?

I had a similar problem. The most likely problem is that something is clogging the drain tube. This is what I did to fix it:
Underneath the car (closer to the middle-passenger side) there should be a black tube sticking out. First, try using compressed air to clean it. If that doesn't work, try using something sturdy but bendable enough to stick through the tube to unclog it. I used a clothes hanger that I bent a little to conform to the bend of the tube. You need something bendable so it doesn't get caught and could possibly rupture the tube itself.

I currently have this same issue too. I also have the film on the inside of my windshield. So from what i gather, my heater core causes the film and the ac line being clogged causes the foot shower in my car?

the evaporator core (under dash) could leak freon and cause a film also. but its not too likley unless you park under a tree alot which causes corrosion in the core. but most likley its the heater core.

bleh, had no idea tree's did that. I do park under a tree every now and again. The film has been present for a few months but the drainage just happened recently so probably gunna try the canned air in the drain hose first. If that doesnt help someone's getting a new evap core
Ty for your help everyone.

Quick update, I went and jacked up the car today to see if i could apply pressured air to the drain hose. The hose was dry and had obviously been dry for a long time. I run my AC at least twice a day for 10-15 minutes so there should have been something that would have made it moist. But anyways was unsuccesful with the canned air. So we traced the drain hoses one kinda clear yellow rubber hose and a black one, and attempted to force the water through them. We located the box on the inside of the car and the black drain hose that went to through the firewall. Once quick "milking" of the hose and water came pouring out of the drain hose outside. Drove it around for an hour or so with the AC blasting and no water came out during any turn. Also made the last payment tonight so she's all mine
