Well it is offical that I am no longer a member here no more. I just totalled my cl 2.2. I was driving on the bw parkway and someone ran into another person and I ran into them. Airbags deployed, lucky no one is hurt. My neck just hurts. But my whole car is fucked. Anyway, the only thing that look like it was fine was the ww lip... BUT it is still on the parkway. So if anyone wants it..... Its some where after the new carrolton exit. Its free if u can find it. I take pics hopefully. It just hit me this morning that my car is gone and I have to get a busted car now. This is my second car I got into a accident. My integra now this bulls***. This was the year for me until this happen.

Well right now, the only things I have out of the car is the aiwa headunit, 7inch tv, stock springs and the cam gears. I also have one 12in audiobahn subs. Not sure if I want to sell it because of the trouble of shipping. I also have the rsx lip kit that i was suppose to custom fit on the cl. But if I do decide to sell it. Just give me a offer and I think about it.

Thanks guys. I think i'm going to spend at the most 9g's for my next car. What kind of car do you think I should get for around 9g's but the insurance won't be to high for? I'm 20 years old and am about to be 21 in august. Insurance is a bitch.

 

how about another CL? i bet if you got another 2.x your insurance wouldnt be that bad.

 

Hmm.....well when I was shopping for my CL I was looking at N/A 300zx's and MR2's.....the insurance was actually lower for them than the CL believe it or not.

If it were me, I'd get a 95-98 240sx, but then again, that's me.

i had a 240sx before my cl. it was a 90 hatchback and let me tell u this.....fukin fun as hell to drive you can peel out, drift around corners(if its 5spd) and a whole bunch of other shit.....but the downside to it is that the rear seats are TINY..it is pretty much a 2seater...

Well I wanted something that is still nice but not something everyone and there momma has. Thats what i liked about the cl.... You don't usually see it hooked up. But I guess I have to suck it up and get what I can get. I think I can get a 2001 TL for around 8000 maybe even 7000 but do any of you guys know if the insurance will be real bad? My friend might sell it to me for that amount.

 

The insurance shouldn't be too bad for a 2001 TL but with your crash record that will make a difference of course.

For 9G you can easily find something with more power..

I didn't get an appraisal yet. Did you get yours yet? How many miles was on yours and how bad was the accident? Was it your fault? My friend told me he will sell me his tl for 8000. Is that a good price?

 

Also do the the 3.2 tl have any tranny problems?

 

I didn't have time to read the whole thread, but make sure you get your neck checked out by a doctor. It comes out of pocket now, but you can get reimbursed. If they don't you can sue. If you wait too long and your neck still hurts, you will be SOL. You can't claim injuries, sue and then go to the doctor, you have to get checked out first. I'm not saying go sue happy, just making sure you don't get screwed if your neck injury is serious.

Also.... I just took pics of the cl not looking good (RIP CL). But anyway, I will post it later this week.

 

No im waiting until tomorrow, tuesday, appraiser is coming.. they suppose to count in my paint job, but i can't find my reciept.... Guess what guys, it's offcial that I can buy the 99 TL. So I won't be leaving the forums. Only thing now is I have to make sure the guy selling me the TL won't back down.

sorry to hear that. good thing that neck injury didn't stick. If they are giving you that much drop it on like a used (exleased) 04 accord V6, or rsx, or even 02 03 Maxima. just my tho.
ps. if you wanna get rid of the pulleys let me know. I'm about to change my timing belt, that would be an easy drop in. thx
