Brake problem

Hey guys,

I was driving yesterday(98 3.0CL automatic) and at between 40-60 mph I would here a noise that sounded like metal grinding. Today, I went to pull out of my complex and the brake light stayed on even when the parking brake wasn't on. Any idea what i need done to it, and where should I take? A dealer or just a brake shop?? Thanks guys. If you could respond to asiegel@vt.edu it would really be appreciated

Andy
