Brake pads rotors OEM ?
Where can i get OE brake rotors for a 98 3.0 that are just as thick and good. I know if you get cheap aftermarket rotors they can have heat discolorization a blue haze and warping.
Are there any manufacture's that make solid rotors up in Canada such as Benidix, Wagner, or Ac Delco, for $50.
Brake pads OE are built by AEM or Hawk or Nissin but are expensive the dealer at acura wants $73 for pads and $93 for rotors. Anyone know of same type of pads built by another company but same quality? Forget about the high performance ones.
Metal Master built by AXXIS i seen the same type for another car i put some on but forgot its name. The pads i paid for were semi metalic going for $40 a set they look the same as Metal Masters. I was told that there are 3 types of rotors and the higher quality rotor cost should not exceed $50 and low should be $25. The category is by letter A, B, C type rotors. Have cost of OE rotors are always higher then aftermarket rotors but quality remains sometimes the same. So i need to find out some plain solid rotor manufactures. Does anyone know of some besides the links below?

i got brembo rotors not cross drilled or slotted but rated for high temperture for $25 each and i got VGX metallic pads for i think $40 a set. i got these dirt cheap because i went threw my cousin since he owns a garage and knows the guys he got it form so he always gets a deal. i go threw him to knock off a couple hundred off of rims and tires when i order them because he gets them at like half price. i love to be connected in all the right spots.

These guys don't ship to Canada anymore.. (the original poster was from Vancouver) which happens a lot to us Canadians. It's like these stores can't be bothered to fill out the customs forms or something for such a small market.
Although their prices were pretty good.
Something that has always bothered me about this car is, nobody has any parts for it..

Thanks but i found a source for my pads and rotors.
The cost for first line Raybestos front rotors $37 canadian each, versus OEM at Acura dealer for $93 canadian each.
The cost of OEM Acura 3.0 front pads $72 a set at the dealer.
Checked out the same Japon parts made by Nissin or AEM or Hawk pads at a site http://www.jrponline.com selling them for $93 canadian go figure.
I'm considering buying ceramic brake pads by raybestos for about $77.03 canadian retailing for $105 canadian. They tell me they are better than OEM pads and are top of the line. Less brake dust and lower pad wear than original. What do you all think go ceramic for $5 dollars more rather stay with OEM which have Kevlar and composite materials?
Also considered some lower end pads for $67.31 but the price difference ain't worth it.

I just had the Raybestos ceramics installed in the rear. Don't really notice a huge diff, but theres supposed to be less dust from them. My mechanic buddy told me they eat-up rotors though. I don't know, well see.
$77 is cost for those pads too, you got a hook-up, eh?
Where in "can" are you?

if you have autozone there...get their blanks...cheap and you don't have to pay shipping
i believe if you get their pads they have a lifetime warranty as well..you should be able to pic between what material and what not...they'll perform just as well as the ultimates or hawks on the street
if not...pepboys also has lifetime warranty on pads...depends if you wanna go to them or not
