while I agree with everything you just said.. the CL isnt exactly a lightweight, what does the f23's power have to do with it? if your traveling at 40 mph, your traveling at 40mph, the kinetic energy is going to be the same as if you had any other engine that weighed the same in the car.
If the situation calls for extreme braking, the 2.x brakes were more than fine in my experience. I've never had a problem. This is on dry pavement with good tires, alignment and healthy rotors/pads mind you. Winter driving conditions call for defensive driving, keeping your distance and the equipped ABS to prevent skids. Not 4 piston calipers that will more likely lock your wheels.

You're also less likely to rear end someone if you aren't speeding, you're also MORE likely to crack and warp your rotors with 4 piston calipers on tiny ass rotors that don't dissipate the heat energy of the friction caused by too much grabbing on the small ass rotor. Thanks once again for ruining a legitimate thread
