I drive a 1999 Acura 2.3 CL and I am about to go on a trip but found out my brake lights are out (both of them). The bulbs are still good, because i checked them. Also, the brake light fuse is also good. I am soooooo stuck. Does anyone one know what the problem might be? relay? module? etc....

 

did you checked the brake light switch at the brake pedal?

 

are your gauges lights not working as well, if so check the fuses under the hood. The small light fuse or something like that would be it.

 

There are fuses under the hood too

 

does the third brake light come on (middle one) if so then your bulbs are blown. just replace them anyways. for 1.50$ you cant go wrong. and the brake light switch is good if you can get it out of park.

 

Well, my break bulbs are all goods and lite up, but the indicate (middle one) still on . Lucky a friend came over. End up to be low on brake oil. so, TOP IT OFF !! !!!
