Brake Light Help Please

Quick Question...

My brake light on my instrument panel is turning on whenever I accelerate, and stays on until I brake to a very low speed. Then it goes back on when I hit the gas. Any ideas on this? I think I saw something about this problem a while back, but do not remember seeing a resolution.

if its the red light just top off the brake fluid. it may look like its at max but the sensor in there is very sensitive.

It's prolly the sensor.

Do a search.

The break fluid in my reservoir was getting so old it turned black. This is the reason why my brake light turned on sometime. Usually only happens when the car needs to warm up and it stays on for about 5 min while I'm driving.

Solution: I took a syringe and sucked all the brake fluid out of the reservoir and cleaned the filter, then replace with new fluid. Use Honda fluid.
