brake issue

I just replaced the front rotor's and pads, once i finished i noticed that it was relatively easy to push the brake pedal all the way to the floor.

It does not lose pressure though, I can hold it halfway down with steady pressure and it will stay there with the same amount of resistance.

when the car is off it still builds pressure when i pump the brakes.

my brakes have been bled recently, (3 months) would it really be possible to introduce air into the system just by changing the pads?

does anyone have any ideas? does it appear like my master cylinder is on its way out?

I will try bleeding the brakes, but something tells me its not that. The car is a 98 3.0 with 207,000 miles on it btw, so it would not surprise me if is falling apart at the seams.

Any suggestions would be great, The most important question is have is... Is my car safe to drive?

check your rubber brake lines. When they get old, they can give to the pressure, thus making your pedal softer without loosing pressure.
