bored with center console!!!!!
i;m soo bored with my center console(the radio and hazards, shifter) all that seems so plain i was considering buying the wood center, but i wanted to get some ideas on what to do about it. i;m not very creative but love to do things myself, so any ideas u guys have done or think would look nice, and i wanna go for kinda luxury in the inside to match with the leather and everything, thanks in advance

i've always wanted a carbonfiber trim/dash, but there is none for our car. People have done that cf vinal, and it looks ok, but i want the real thing or i'm keeping the wood.
oh, i think d98 recovered his dash wish white leather. (check his pics.) that looked pretty nice but it would get sooo dirty.

At least the wood looks real. The vinal CF looks way too fake. Real cf looks so fucking good.

you would use carbon fiber vinyl, so far the other day it was 112 here in cali and it withheld the heat fine and no bubbles. hope this helps

ya blo2ck...good idea....go spend like 200 on some REAL carbon fiber....and cut and appoxy it onto your dash....i'm sure it'll be well worth the money spent....or do leather froma fabric store like i did for 10 bucks and see how good that looks....i hate the real carbon fiber preachers if its not for any good. did everyone forget the idea behind carbon fiber?

oh yes. i cant want to get my body kit for my 1996 CL...errr i wouldnt buy something from a company that doesnt even know what years the CL was made

Here's an idea that might be cool if you want to do something yourself....paint it with that marble/or granite paint that you can buy in the craft store. It hols up pretty good! It might be kinda cool looking...what's the color of your interior?.....just an idea!

i am very interested in polished aluminum dash kits. i think tey look very good. they dont make em for our cars(hmm what a surprise) but you can check em out at legend5.com

secondly, blo2ck....no, i dont have white rims....i have white leather in my white cl....and if you think tats gay...then ya, we do have different taste....cause it looks good.... and funny you mention rims....i'm ordering these in a week....but i spose my taste is not up to par...

yeah those rims are pimp d5c5b! I bought those, but traded a friend for the konig verdicts just cause without a dish the rim looks a lot bigger. Sometimes I wish I kept those though.

ok ok..... i will agree with you....i had fake c/f on my celica when i was 16...and i must say i'm pleased i grew outta that. i the white leather....its a bitch....but it's worth it....so cant complain...i know what you mean about the lip. but i just love some bigs lips...haha. thanks for the compliments on the trunk....it feels good to see people like something you did yourself.
