No you can't blow up your engine by flooring it, you'll kill your tranny first

Not only is it not good for your car, more importantly you're putting yourself and others at risk of serious injury or even worse, not worth it, don't be stupid.

He complains about someone "abusing" it by towing with the car (which it can do), the tranny already being replaced, poor gas mileage and now this thread?

i agree im only twenty soon to be 21

i learned my lesson though when i lost my license for 6 months. but i have had tickets since just the normal speeding. you shouldnt be able to drive alone till you are 18. its tough but it will help with kids dying in accidents and it will cut down on the funny business happening on the raod

you dont know what you have till its not there anymore.. whether its a license, car, life, or a tranny in this case lol etc... im not much older than he is either but i think the thing that separates the mature from the immature is experience, if you have never felt the consequences of your actions then you will keep doing what you do till something happens...

You complain about people towing with your CL, and bad gas mileage, but you "floor" the pedal? I hope you grow out of it and learn to drive responsibly. Flooring it is not cool, and does nothing but endanger yourself and others. Not to mention your poor tranny

lol dam,all the 17 yr old bashing,i been driving like this(''defensively''...thats how we reckless drivers define it lol) for the past 3 years, never been caught by the police..well only once and it was for broken backlight, high beams, and 10 over speed(he didnt even give me a warning..he thought i stole the car but after he checked he let me go),i use the x50(which doesnt work ,no detector works..too much store immit. and instant on) so i sold it since it was of no benefit.you know those idiots who treat us CL drivers bad cuz they think we're in a civic or accord...i just cant take their b.s...so you gotta show them whats up,thats basically the only time i floor the engine, but i would have to say that in normal accelration my rpm reaches 3 easily..for some reason i dont feel the v6 power unless at 2 or more.

driving with permits don't really count as driving by yourself. Michigan's law is 14yrs and 8 months you can get a learners permit but you have to drive with an adult. and you can get your licence when you are 16.
if you count, thats 1 yr and a few months.

driving with a permit by yourself and getting pulled over is no different than driving without a licence

We're not bashing you because you're 17, we're bashing you because you're being moronic.

Yeah, that'll show 'em. Driving straight into another car or off the road because you floored it and lost control because you're inexperienced.

Then stop complaining about the transmission, poor gas mileage, and other problems that you're going to cause for yourself.
