Hi guys,

My check engine light just came on and it constantly blinks. Was almost home so haven't restarted it yet to see if it stopped. Got on here and did a little research. Some older posts stated blinking lights indicate a misfire. Was curious if that is still the consensus and if so, what could be causing this. The car runs fine at 212K but it does burn a lot of oil. No smoke comes out the back though. Ironically, just today I added some of that oil valve stop leak stuff and a half quart of oil since it was low again. Any thoughts? Thanks.
