when you re-silicon it, re heat it then place the pieces together thus creating a water-s type seal.

12. Finally, make sure you pre-bake them for about 8-10 minutes on 200 degrease or heat them with a heat gun. Most high temp paints will change color and release chemicals. This will make your headlamps foggy inside or make a rainbow like film inside if not preheated. This is another reason to use a flat color. It will typically turn into a semi-gloss once it’s exposed to heat. Now you're ready to seal them back up.
You just prebake the piece you just painted so the chemicals from the paint wont evaporate in the housing.

You did scrape out most of the old sealant right? You heated them up (the entire thing to loosen what's left of the old sealant) just before you apply the new sealant and put them together?

I didn't take all those pics and explain the little steps for nothing.. That's why I updated Klepto's, so people wouldn't be confused and ask quesions about it..

Haha, very funny.......

But if you don't put on enough sealant and end up getting condensation, don't put tin foil over the headlights with the highbeams on for 30 minutes to "cook" the condensation out...
