Black Rims?
I was just wonder if anyone out there put black rims on their car? I was thinking it might look cool and just wanted to see if anyone did that. Thanks

Yeah, If Ghander's CL was that black one with the CP-10s i think they were bronze as well. I've been thinking of getting gunmetal rims on my white CL, i just don't know what that would look like. White on silver is the conservative route...white on white only look good with certain rims (a la dcsquirm's)...I was thinking about gunmetal Montegi Racing MR7's (like the konig tantrums)...in 18"s...any opinions? Either that or some Lowenhart BR5's (in my dreams)

Lowenhart does not make a bolt pattern for our car, so it will remain a dream. I have never been a fan of black rims. Only KIT from KnightRider could pull it off. I would go for straight silver or chrome.

Yeah, Lowenharts are only 5 lug aren't they? Oh well...I'll have to agree that straight black rims aren't good, but gunmetal and silver metallic finishes intrigue me. By the way, BSA makes a cheap knock-off of those Lowenhart BR5's in our bolt pattern (I think they are 18"s with a 40 offset..4X114.3 or whatever ours is)

Carbon / athrocite / gun metal is the way to go on black.. NOT black painted...
