Best way to increase cornering

I want to increase the cornerning ability of my '97 2.2 5-speed. Where is my money best spent? Tires? Struts?

welcome to the forum

your best bet to make the CL handle decent:
-Springs (Neuspeed, Eibach)
-Struts (Koni, KYB, Tokico)
-Sway Bars
-A rear strut tower brace.

it definately will handle good for a large 2 door. be warned tho.. the power steering reservoir is on the small side, so if you plan to do autocross, it will feel like you are losing power steering.

WHoa!

You didn't mention tires!!!

The single most important thing is tires.

Get some nice tires!

Wheels and tires will give you the most immediate improvement.

Springs and shocks should be next.

If that's not enough for you, then go for the sways.

The rear strut tower brace did the most for me. With the AGX on hard and the brace I am now able to kick the rear end out around corners

you already have tires so get the strut bars. they really do make a difference i have dc struts in the front and back and just adding the one to the back made a difference if u put one on the lower tie bar it will make more of a difference. than get bigger rims and wheels at the same time for better cornering. bigger tires means better handling. then u should drop ur car with some real coilovers.

i would keep the stock front strut bar since it connects in three places instead of two like the rest of the aftermarket ones. you can probably add an aftermarket in the front in addition to the factory one.

i dont remember how much it costs to resurface the front rotors.
