The best upgrade/mod I could ever get for myself and my CL

Got a new daily driver, so I can garage the CL, and be able to take her to the shop and not have to rent a car again. Here's a few pics of my new baby, just picked her up Thursday, and love her to death. Certified 100K mile bumper to bumper all inclusive warranty for the win! Got the sport package with the upgraded suspension setup and brakes, 6 disc indash changer, 1 touch moon roof, upgraded bucket seats, etc etc. This motor is also great cuz it has the smooth shift with no shift shock and the intelligent valve timing, and high and low 4wd, with all speed traction control, hill climb assist, locking differentials, as well as down hill assist control Also has a built in factory tow hitch so I can tow the CL around if needed. 8 speaker JBL Premium surround sound system with stock sub and center channel, as well as the 6 disc changer, rear audio controls and channel, self dimming mirror with compass, and heated mirrors. Also has power and remote controlled rear gate window, factory spoiler, and double decker folding shelf in the trunk with privacy cover, and folding seats with lots of room. Lemme know what ya think.

What's wrong with a toyota? It's got 4wd, and it's rwd, plus it's got way better gas mileage than an mdx (which I looked at first) plus has way more hp and torque. Plus, 100K mile bumper to bumper warranty

Leather and heated seats But the sport package doesn't come with leather, just thicker cloth and the bucket seats with the lumbar. And with the dog, I really don't want another car with leather, just not having the heated seats in the winter will suck. But I like the sport package, the limited is the only package that has leather/heated seats and they are hard to find, specially not with the v8. Almost impossible used, and the v6 has 10 more hp than the v8 plus better gas mileage. The other reason I got a toyoder was that they have the best gas mileage of that size SUV. It's my winter car, not so much a beater, VERY expensive beater

nice truck....my dad has an 05 V6 Limited....got the V6 because of gas reasons since he travels alot but still the truck has a ton of power. he got the eclipse DVD/Navi put in it by the dealer and wa shooked up to the JBL speakers which do sound pretty good. it's a stout truck and a pretty quick one at that. the off roading capabilities are really good in this thing since we do take this and his tundra to the sand dunes. in the winter, if you have snow, it is virtually impossible to get stuck. good choice and good luck.

btw did the 9006 conversion on it right when he got it, like we did to the CL. really helped alot and both the headlights and the fogs can do the conversion.

I'm doing the headlights, the fogs have hid already. I bought it for the snow, plus my driveway is a big old hill. Thanks for the input, and I def love the JBL

It's got MAD room, thanks for all the comments.

[QUOTE=danielsmi]
It's definately better than vtec, it's intelligent valve timing, VVT-I stands for variable valve timing and it gives awesome gas mileage, def love this truck

Don't worry about that, I got more love for the CL than anything else. That's why I got a daily driver, so I can garage the CL and do the work I'm trying to do to her without driving her and beating on her everyday, plus I need a winter car, the winters here suck, especially on all the hills and mountains. The CL is comin along great, I drove her for a good ride for the first time in 2 weeks, since the starter kicked, and the tranny gasket leak got fixed, it was great. Suspension install goes in friday Now that's love, bought a new car, and giving the CL a new suspension finally

If you knew how much of a break on labor he was giving me, to hydraullicly press all my bushings in, unsieze and replace bolts, and replace every stock part with aftermarket, you wouldn't blame me.

That's the beater alright, and don't worry, I won't forget about the CL, she's the main reason I bought a daily driver/ winter car, so that I can garage her for winter, work on her, and not have to put her through another winter of salt, specially after i drop her and replace everything on the suspension
