The best mod to go faster is to buy a new car. I am not being sarcastic.

stop being a tard, he is right, that car will never be "fast".

nitrous and 17 year olds dont mix well, i wouldnt feel safe using it.

my suggestion, dont waste your money and get a nice sound system, some wheels, tint and a drop.

or get a built h22, gut the interior, and use some FI.

how about nitrous and 19 year olds? lol jk hobo. I'll be 20 in a month and an assistant manager at a blockbuster, everybody thinks I'm 23 so that's nto fair.

how about a shotgun and a 19 year old? that might be safer?

if you want that extra push you dont feel when you're stock, then go exhaust... the extra flow of air your engine gets to push out is incredible! I know CB felt alot quicker once i added the new pipes.

of course, it could have also been that I switched from 1.75 piping to 2.25 piping too + magnamuff.

d'oh i should have also mentioned that nitrous would be the quick way to speed up in no time (and blow the engine up in no time as well.)

I'll be doing it soon

I ran the zex 75 shot on my f22 with no probs, except for my tranny went up and that was not related. The 75 shot will definatly give you a little more pull, but for the price of having to fill that bottle all the time, you may want to save and invest your money in a swap or turbo. Realistically when you start spraying, your always going to want that pull, but when your bottle runs out.........................where are you, having to pay another 40bucks to get it filled. Save and go for the gusto, trust me, this h22 I have blows a lot of shit out of the water!!

well if steve's saying it, it's gotta be right. he runs 13's for crying out loud.

I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. I'd like to get a turbo for my f22, but im still not familiar with all the other upgrading id have to do to valves, pistons, etc. that and Im broke like a joke. I would like to do the engine swap to an h22 as well. but, :

Want versus What I can afford. hmm..

but yea, if the cash is there, turbo =

FYI: A properly installed and tuned N20 setup will cost you around $1,000.

Speed isn't cheap.

Dude, save your money. Your car is slow, and will always be slow unless you spend a few thousand dollars.

prolly will always be slow but i plan on spending money on it so i might as well find out what works well for the money.

and something else ide like to know, h22 or turbo? and for the turbo, whoever has this done, is it worth it or would the h22 be better?

turbo will put you around the stock power output of a 2nd Generation CL Type-S.

Invest your money in making the car look nice. A few thousand dollars into a motor swap or a turbo isn't going to get you going fast. Wrong platform for even a mildly fast car.

Keep the paint nice, get a nice body kit, rims, stereo system, etc. You already have an intake and exhaust to stand out a little. Don't waste you money on going fast in a slow car.

There's a guy in MD who has a turbo 1st gen. He makes a little more power than a 2nd Gen Type-S. Shouldn't be quicker than 14.7 @ 96-97 MPH.

If you'll be happy with that, great.

considering the f22 is capable of 260+ whp and 280ish wtq on stock internals...it's not too shabby...tell that guy to get a better tuner or get better equipment =)

capable of safely running 12-14psi on stock internals daily driven..17psi on the track

iron sleeves and 8:8:1 compression = boost friendly

I'd love to show you several slow accords built to be fast cars =)

i say if you have the money go ahead and built the motor...if you don't then just relax until money comes in...but it's not my money so i'm not gonna say anything else

The setup i'm talking about is only 10psi.

And this kid doesn't have the money needed to spend on a turbo.

if youre going to build something, build something worth working with. the f22 is great but what happens when you want more power? 400-500whp will be hard to come around by and will cost a lot of money. to get there

imo it depends what you want for your car. do you just want to FI your car just for some boost here and there? or do you want a street car that produces its maximum potential? think about it that way before you get all these different ideas. itll help you sort things out.

pistons: weisco or arias can make custom pistons for you

cam: talk to sales@kteller.com..they can get you a custom regrind
rocker motorsports i believe also does cam regrinds
there is one more company that i'm forgetting....also stay away from gude
cam

valves and valve springs i believe ferrara (spelling?) makes them

rods and sleeve i'll get back to you

machining work...hopefully you have some good machinists in your area...otherwise there's a few companies that can do the work for you

<---currently found an interesting thread regarding a h22a crank in f22/f23..has alot of info on building an f series too if you're interested...i suggest visiting that site often as well...but it's an accord site so i dunno how it will sit with some of you guys...run a search there and a ton of info will pop up

http://www.accordinglydone.com/forum...ight=internals

google is your friend also =)
