Best 9006 bulb?

yes i did a search, but didnt find what I was looking for.

I have had bad luck with every 9006 i have bought so far, they only last about 6 weeks max (and NO, i dont touch them during install)

I have heard PIAA's are the best, other say Sylvania, etc.

Basically, just tell me the kind of bulb you have and how long they have lasted so I can determine what kind to buy this time?

Thanks in advance for your help.

My Nokyas lasted for more than a year. I think they look closest to HIDs than any other bulb. Good timing with my projector setup too, because my driver's side busted just 2 days before I put in my new setup. Get Nokyas if you want blue/white HID-lookin bulbs, otherwise, GO HID! Then you won't ever go wastin a grip on bullshit bulbs.

I had nokya's before my HID's and loved them for 15.00 :-)
For nokya's order them here:

http://www.adventon.com

Also goto http://www.coolbulbs.com they have a good explanation of the nokya bulbs and they also sell Raybrig and Polarg which are also great bulbs but a little more expensive.

I have a pair of 9006 Piaas and a pair of 9005 Piaas I will be selling once my HIDs get here. I have only had them in for two months - like new. They are the best bulb I have seen short of true HIDs.

I've had Nokya Bulbs, and they lasted less than 2 months.

I've had Krypton Xenon bulbs and they last less than 6 months.

I have PIAA H3 bulbs in my Fog lights, and one just blew 2 weeks ago. I've had them over a year.

I have PIAA 168 bulbs in my clear corners and they're still good after a year.

I had 2 pair. One pair lasted LESS than a month, and the 2nd pair lasted less than 2 months! I got the 2nd set because the 1st set blew while still in the warranty period. And NO, I didn't touch them. They're just poor quality bulbs! :thumbsdn:

You're the first person that I've heard "say" that they're good.

Maybe I had 2 bad sets.

No Xenon bulbs compare to HIDs!

The prices should continue to drop with time.

After Noyka's were giving me more burnout's than an Oakland sideshow I went with Raybrig hyperwhites (80W 5000k). I've had them for over a year, driving mainly at night and they're still haven't blown out. I also like the color. PIAA's aren't bad but they look more like a stock halogen. Don't even mess with the crap they have at pepboys (cool blue, APC, 3A) although slyvannia's 55w bulb at 25 a pop( I threw them on my girlfriend's Camry) were pretty good.

Nokyas suck ass. They dont give enough output to light the road and they blow out quick. In fact you can still see some of the blue glass stuck inside my headlight from when one of them blew out.
