Those splash guards, not mud flaps, can be painted I painted mine and they turned out fine just be careful not to scrapp or they will mess up. It looks good and I like the suede I am trying to find and intereior person to do my seats with suede inserts where are you aat and where is the shop. Florida is not far from where I live in MS
