Beepless entry

When I use my keyless entry to lock my car, it no longer beeps. When I first got it it would beep twice when I locked it and once when I unlocked it (I think). Now it doesn't beep at all unless I try to lock it with the doors open. What do I need to do to make it beep again?

Yup, what he said. I did the same thing once and couldn't figure it out either. Not sure if it's in the manual, but I just ended up calling the dealer. It was set to silent mode. Doing the above will put it back to the "regular" mode ......

Now that I'm re-reading it... it may be the lock and trunk buttons. I can't remember off hand. Best bet is to call your dealer's service department... they should be able to tell you right on the phone which ones it is.....

1 chirp = armed

2 chirps = disarmed

3 chirps = door/trunk still open so can't arm

And the method they describe for turning on/off the chirping is the way the manual says to do it.

Hey peeps, you hold down the lock and the trunk button for like 3 to 5 secs. and with that you can either turn your beep on or off. alright.

its the lock and trunk bottons together. when the light flashes once for about 1 second that means the beep is activated. if the light flashes twice quickly the beep is unactivated.
