my battery light came on while i was driving last night.

is that mean my battery went bad? or my alternator?

if it alternator, where should i go to change it? possible to DIY?

test your battery first, it is probably the culprit

 

take it to autozone and have them test your battery and then your alternator.

the problem is you need to have a good battery for them to test the alternator. And if you have a bad battery you need to get a new one and then have them test your alternator again... most likely the new battery should do the trick... while ur at it buy an optima yellow top.

optima blue top, ey rob. u know 11th street in LA? where there is like 10 audio warehouse for systems. everything u bargain with the seller and shit. i know this hook up and i asked him how much would he give me the brand new optima blue top for, and he quoted me 125$. i wuz like omG.... and u should be like dat too rite now haha. i also asked him how much for pioneer avc n1 and he said he'll give it to me for 1350 but im pertty sure i could drop it to 1300 or somethign. they sell alot of shit fo cheap when u juss kep bargarnning with them cuz they are competing with 10 other stores right next to them.

 

fuck... i spent a shit load on the yellow top 170 but then i was in a hurry... I knew i could get it cheaper... but I just wanted to be able to start the car. at least there is a good warrenty.

yah...itz in a fuckin ghetto. but alot of people know about it cuz itz cheap. i went there like 2 weeks ago cuz my friend wuz getting a system and i wuz a good bargainner. and yah....he juss knew me and didnt even bother bargainning with me so he juss gab him the price i wanted haha. yah...next time i go there or if u need to go there, ill go with u.
