automatic tranny to manual
i am going to be doing some crazy mods to my car, and this tranny is not going to hold. the solution: change the tranny to a manual. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT STEPS HAVE TO BE TAKEN?

ur tranny will easily handle 200hp at the crank. ull have to do major work on that engine. cheaper to do an engine swap w/ 5spd. ull barely hit 200hp without some turbo or nos

Yeah the '97 accord turbo kits fit the the 2.2 and 2.3 cls. Not to many people have done it. You might run into some trouble with the intercooler piping lining up correctly. But it won't be to hard to do custom intercooler piping. The turbo manifold should fit perfectly, since headers from a 97 accord fit our cars.
Honestly I would not do it. It wouldn't really be worth it on a f22a or f23a. Save your money and do an h22a swap instead and then put a turbo. Sure it'll cost more but you'll be going alot faster. And if you have an automatic forget about putting a turbo. The auto trannys can't really take more than 200 H.P.
