Automatic Starters

I'm thinking about getting one for my CL for the winter. What everyones opinion on these? Is there anything I should know b4 getting one put in? This will prevent me from driving my car when the engine is still cold and it will also keep me warm.

I recently got an auto-starter on my 97 3.0 and I love it. I haven't had any problems with it yet, I got it back in September. I can start the car from pretty far away and let it warm up before I get in. It also has this feature that automatically shuts off the car in case someone gets in. As soon as they press the brake to put it in gear the car cuts off. It's also funny to see people look at my car when it starts and there's no one in it. I love doing that. Anyway hope this helps a little.

I heard that Clifford carries a remote start for manuals...but do you think it would work on our cars? I mean, if you have to hold down the clutch to start the engine, how would you wire the remote start to actually work?

I know some accord people have done it by somehow bypassing the clutch thing. They just said you have to make sure you leave it in neutral when you leave your car. I remember one guy posting that his g/f (most likely him ) used the remote starter and the car was in gear so it slammed into something I'll see if i can find out more about it
