auto seat function

I saw a video on youtube of a guy using that lever on the side of the seat facing the door.. It made the back rest lean forward, then the whole seat automatically went forward to fit a person in the back.. Then when he clicked the backrest back, the seat went back to its origional position automatically.. MY CAR DOESN'T DO THIS? What the eff!! title was: 1997 acura cl - seat function

mine stops doing it sometimes. i think i usually tilt the seat forward and then move the seat all the way up. then tilt the seat back and it should slide back by it self.

you do have a power driver seat right?

That's a premium feature, it's only for a power seat, the power leather seats do it, mine does it

Mine does it aswell..
Although I never use that feature of fear that it will get stuck again or something. Like the window regulators, power seats are known to be pretty fragile.. I would know.

^^ same. much easier to slide and climb out.

I was thinking, maybe its an option on the 3.0's only?

Maybe, I don't know anything about it and I read through my entire owners manual.

My 3.0 CL (Prem) only had that function on the drivers side, so I assume its the norm.

Tranny is great! Shifts just as smooth as any other 12 year old car would, thanks for asking.

Damn.. Then I wanna be the first 2.2 with this mod.. Any suggestions, what to look for?.. Would the components needed be confined to the seat or would there be other things controlling it?

I like it, but for me I would have to have that much dimmer. I kno you're getting one. After thinking about it I think I'm going with white for everything. I impressed my 6" white neon held up over the very nasty winter we had up here.
