Audio and Light Upgrades?

well I finally got my first cl...99 3.0 very nice and I am already in love with it but I wanna change the lights and audio.
1-For the lights can I upgrade the bulbs to a different bulb like xenon or hyper lights or something cause I really dont know what I am talking about?
2-What are some recommended speakers and size for the back and door panel speakers?

thanks!

You can get hyper white or those blue bulbs. They cost any where from 30 - 100 dollars. You can get an HID kit, for about 300-500 dollars. These are the ones on the new TL's and CL's.

Speakers, 6X5 in the front , 6X9's in the back. You can replace them with whatever you want. You can replace the factory amp with an aftermarket amp too.

I thought that our speakers and amp ran on a different ohm setting than most after market speakers. Wouldn't that make a difference? Wouldn't that limit the selection of speakers unless you change the entire system or get something to change the ohm's?

I heard that they are 2ohms, and that the aftermarket speakers are 4ohms. But, 4 ohms will work, you just don't get as much power too them.

From my experience, aftermarket speakers with a factory deck are an improvement, but unless you get an amp they're not going to be at their full potential.

Do you have the BOSE system? if not then you dont even need to bypass your amp.

I will say it again

ACURA STOCK SPEAKERS ARE 4 OHM!!!!!!!!!!

just like almost every other damn 6x9 and 6.5.

Also if you replace the rear deck 6x9's make sure you measure the depth of the speaker you are going to install (depth = from the bottom of the magnet to the top of the cone) I had to fabricate custom mounts to hold my pioneer 6X9s because they were too deep and would hit one of the two rods that run across the ceiling of our trunk compartment that provid the resistance to make our trunk open and close.

I was looking at this website for the lighting. What do you think about it? How bright would it be? And it's not the coolblue i'm talking about, its the SilverStar.

But hey VXCL, I'm interested in your HID conversion as well. Can you please either tell me here, or PM me on the details on what I need to do and how much it'll cost. I assume its you, who makes this? And can we get the light bluish/whitish color instead of the greenish? And one last thing, is your conversion only for the low beam or the high as well? Thanks man.
