Thanks, dustbuster4!
Do you also happen to know how much of it approximately can be drained out at a time by removing the drain plug?

Now that you're on the subject. Do you need to change the filter also if the car has 80k Miles? Yes is prob the answer but is it a must? (for the transmission)

the filter is inside the tranny u cannot change it, unless u remove the tranny. thats what im doing now.

hey dust u got an exploded view of the tranny in ur service manual? (internal parts) im having a tough time putting my tranny back together. im done with the rebuild but this pin fell out on the floor and i cannot find where it goes on any of the slides on acura automotive parts website.

There are 271 pages on the tranny!

If you can help me narrow the search, I can throw up some pages.

*Damn 5 minute rule*

I have between 50 and 60 exploded views of the tranny. Any idea of the specific area that you need?

I have the Repair Manual for the '97 and '98 3.0CL only (not the '99).

I'm 99.9% sure that the '98 and '99 are the exact same tranny. I posted the pages for the '98 tranny.

I hope these help:

I got it off of eBay for $25.00!

It has paid for it self about 100 time over!

The only problem with it is that's it's a Supplemental Manual. This means that any components that are similar between the 2.x and the 3.0 are ONLY listed in the 2.x Manual, not the 3.0 manual. You really need the 2.x Manual to have ALL aspects of the CL covered.

However, it's helped me get my engine swapped plus dozens of other mods/repairs!

BTW: This book is the "official" 1997/98 Acura 3.0 Service Manual that all of the Acura Tech's use to do repairs.

Yes . . . it has the ENTIRE drive train (mechanical systems, electrical systems, trouble shooting, removal/repair/and installation).

I've not had the Helm's manual, so I don't know.

The scans that I posted are from the "ACURA 3.0CL Service Manual Supplement 97-98" printed by Honda.
